I added Booksense - which points you to independent local U.S. bookstores that have the book you're looking for. But it doesn't show up when clicking on an ISBN link (such as from Nonviolent Communication).
I read http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:ISBN_links and it turns out that MediaWiki has two, completely separate (!) ways to reference books by ISBN.
If one enters text such as (ISBN 1-8920-0503-4), it creates a link which you click on to get a page using the values in $wgBookstoreListEn in Language.php.
If one enters something like ISBN 1-8920-0503-4
- Find this book at your local bookstore through http://booksense.org/
- Find this book on Amazon.com
- Find this book on Barnes & Noble
- Find this book on BooksPrice
then it inserts links from Template:ISBN as you can see above.
So...Markus P., would you add the Booksense information to $wgBookstoreListEn in Language.php ?
