IRC

I wanted to try out Internet Relay Chat, but couldn't find an easy way to do it. The easiest I found was Chatzilla on Firefox. If you haven't tried it, I suggest you use the free open source and "Best of Class" Firefox web browser, with its free open source Chatzilla plugin. That way Chatzilla opens a new window leaving your browser window as-is. Chatzilla has many helpful features, including automatically scrolling the window down so you see new text. I find that there are several versions of my login name still active on the NVC chat link above, apparently because I closed the connection without first leaving the NVC chat. I haven't found any way to close those, so don't be surprised to see me shown as online when I'm really not.
