The big issue in my mind: what is NVC as an organization? Is is a loose network of consultants seeking right livelylhood? Or is it a tighly structured revolutionary organization? The way I see it:in the current loose structure of NVC, the ground is most fertile for independent entrepenurial consultants. I wear that hat, and I am eager to figure out how to make a living training in NVC, and I notice my anxiety about competition and turf. I think sociocracy will support more NVC's evolution as a formal organization, supporting interdepence. As a social change agent I am eager for that! NVC and sociocracy seem to be a great pairing for contributing to justice, equality, sustainability, and joy. And I feel anxious - where will I fit in? I am not a member of an NVC that is an enterprise that can guarantee me a living wage. The focus so far has been on the Global Coordinating Committee, but I foresee that the biggest impact of sociocracy is on the grassroots and the layers in between. Already sociocracy is lending a sense of identity and belonging to newly forming sociocratic NVC cirles where previously there was no organizational structure context. And my biggest personal question is how I can meet my needs for financial security in the changing context of NVC.
